When the whole world starts crashing down, successful people don’t fall apart – they persevere. Usually, when we speak of the world falling apart, we talk about on a much smaller scale, or in a more metaphorical sense as in something happening to you personally, not the literal world. However, now the whole world is shaken up, the whole reality of the whole world changed completely.

Our little worlds became smaller, limited to our homes, and priorities have been shifted enormously. But even now, there are people devoted to creating their damn magic, even when everything changed. And we bet that those very people will come out better, stronger, and successful out of this. Why? Because they persevere.

What is Perseverance?

Perseverance is the way for opening the path towards your magic. It’s not giving up, no matter how bad things are now, no matter the difficulty of your road, no matter that there are a thousand ways that you could feel better now and achieve less in the long run. It’s the ability to stick on your road, no matter how many times you trip or fall. But what is the difference between people that persevere and those that don’t? Some people do it through sheer will, but successful people do it because they are devoted to a lifetime of self-improvement.

How To Persevere?

So, how can you start to persevere? How can you start creating your own damn magic? Here are a few tips:

Make sure you picked the right goals

Sometimes you can persevere all you want, but if the goal is wrong for you, life will lead you further and further away from it. Ask yourself, is this goal going to make me a better person? Does this goal align with the life I want to create? Be selective. Cut off the goals that don’t serve you, and focus on the ones that do.

Encourage yourself

Every step you take, no matter how tiny, it’s a step forward! So, treat it like that - it’s progress however little, you are one step closer to your goals. Be encouraging to yourself, give yourself a few encouraging words, a pat on the back, a mini celebration, and you will see that you will become immensely fueled up to work even harder on your goals!

Focus on your goals every day

Don’t just think of your goals every day with guilt about doing nothing about them. Remember that when you are creating your own damn magic, you are in charge. So instead of letting guilt eat you away, do something every day that helps you achieve your goals daily. Even a visualization, an affirmation to help you along the way can help you immensely to persevere!
