Step 2 – The Plans Within Plans

Making progress in life can be very hard. Especially if you have been running around all day long with a thousand errands, obligations and tasks on that endless list of to-do things. Because the thing is, if you don’t plan things out a little further, one day you will wake up, exhausted, because you have put in an enormous effort to achieve the impossible, and you will have very little to show for it. And that’s not the way to create your own magic.

Step 2 – The Plans within Plans

Even though no matter how much you plan, things don’t always go according to plan, even though you will focus on the wrong things sometimes, plans give you something more important in life. A direction. A purpose. A path to create on your own. And when you are persistent to awaken your own magic, even if things go completely opposite from what you planned they would, you will still have a direction, leading you towards awakening your magic.

The Plans Within Plans – Mapping out your plans

One of the most important thing when setting goals is to create a plan for them. In step 1, you mapped out all the goals that you currently have in your life, and now it’s time to start planning the steps to turn them into a reality. The thing is, when you start mapping out plans step by step, you always stumble on many things that you haven’t thought about. Sometimes even the simplest goals can have much more steps than you originally thought. The good thing about mapping out plans is getting a realistic perspective if you have underestimated your goals. Because the n1 factor for giving up to early is when you start working towards something that you thought it would be easy, and yet it turned so complicated and hard that you have accepted a mindset that says “I can’t do this”. And that is simply not true. You just don’t want to put in the effort to achieve your goals. Instead of doing that, start mapping out your plans, know what you will be getting yourself into and have a loose timeframe for every goal that you have. Here is how to do it:

  1. Select small goals first – start mapping out steps you need to take to make the plan a success, no matter how obvious or silly they might seem, for example: Goal – Get a Tattoo ; Steps: Choose a tattoo, choose a good tattoo studio, call to set an appointment, get in car, get the tattoo.

  2. So, why should you do this? Even the small goals that can be done anytime, have more steps than you might have originally thought. Once you start mapping down the simple tasks and parts, you will get used to thinking ahead, and in which direction you should be headed to accomplish bigger goals.

  3. Once you are done with your goal, even the smallest one, it’s time to celebrate your success. Although it doesn’t seem like a big deal sometimes, you need to understand that every step that you take forward in your life, is a step further than you have ever been in your life. Even the smallest steps count! So, don’t take your progress for granted. It is your progress, by your effort, in your life – you are growing, becoming magic. And what is more amazing than that?
