Word of the Week - Self-Confidence
Believing in yourself is very important. After all, how can you achieve something if you don't have the will to start working? How can you kick ass if you don't believe you can? No matter what you choose, you hold power over your thoughts. And, you know best - what you think, you slowly but surely become. Having the belief in yourself to move forward in life, starts with your self-confidence. Sometimes in life, there isn't space for you to doubt yourself. There isn't time to think if something is right or wrong. There is only space for one action - moving forward.
What is self-confidence?
Self-confidence is the ability to believe in yourself and have faith that your decisions are the right ones. And even when they aren't you are learning. That is what you are here to do. Learn and experience life. Whatever you do, fail or succeed it's for your benefit. Don't let the fear and doubt overtake you. Because we all make mistakes, just like you. We all learn, just like you. You are worthy. And you need to recognize your own worth as well. Honor yourself with self-confidence and belief. And you will kick every day's ass, no matter what life throws at you!
Is self-confidence good for you?
Of course, having healthy self-confidence is great. But once you start thinking that you are better than everyone else, that is a little too much. The key to a healthy balance between egoism and healthy self-confidence is not comparing yourself to others. The only person you should compare yourself is with the person you were yesterday. This is your life. Your choices. Your journey. How can you compare it with anyone else's?
So, don't fall into that mind trap. Because you will never be good enough in your eyes like that. Instead, wake up, smile, remember that you are going to kick ass today, remember that you believe in yourself and outdo yourself every day.
