A Note on Self-Care

Self-care is essential in recharging our spiritual batteries. It can come in the form of alone time, journaling, or any activity that you find soothing. But how can you tell if your energy is getting low and it’s time to rejuvenate?

When Your Self-Confidence is Low

No one is perfect. That’s pretty universal, but when you began to compare yourself to your favorite social media personalities or self-deprecating has become a staple in your

speech, it’s time for self-care. Confidence requires daily upkeep. What was uplifting yesterday may become detrimental today, so remember that it’s always okay to step away from society's demands and give yourself a confidence boost. How? Well that’s up to you.

When You’re Feeling Uninspired

Burn-out is a bummer. Ideas can be hard to come by at work and activities that you love have completely lost luster. It’s almost as if a dense fog has descended and you just don’t want to do anything. It’s time for self-care. Explore something new or journal, but allow yourself time to be selfish and climb out of your funk. Keep in mind, that self-care is at your own pace, so don’t feel rushed to spring back so fast.
